I am Señora Martín, your teacher this year. Señorita Easterbrook, our classroom paraprofessional and I have planned a lot of exciting ways to teach you about the beautiful language of Spanish and the wonderful Hispanic culture.

While you are on the internet visit and friend--Nuestra Clase--on Facebook. Nuestra Clase means 'our class'. This is a Facebook page dedicated to the Academy of Flint Middleschool Spanish Classes. You can find it at this web address: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=wizard#!/ When you friend Nuestra Clase you will get updates on test and quiz dates as well as links to videos and Spanish practice websites. I am also using Nuestra Clase as an online forum for class discussion. If you post an answer to a question for your grade level that is well thought out, uses complete sentences and proper netiquette (good manners on the internet) you will receive extra credit!
